Self assessment deadline is looming

Last year more than 700,000 people left it to the last minute to file their personal tax return with around 8% missing the deadline altogether.

The director-general of customer services at HMRC, Karl Khan stated

“We know many customers will have been adversely affected by the pandemic. That’s why we have made it quick and simple to set up a payment plan.”
